Incredible hospitality and fantastic food!! We were met and hosted by the owner, he offered us a free tasting before we ordered with an explanation about each dish and Nepali culture/ cuisine. The food was delicious, meat tender with depth of flavour. Great atmosphere with a local musician playing & free beer tasting also. Absolutely recommend and will be coming back with friends.

I had an amazing experience at this Nepali restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. The momo dumplings were perfectly steamed and packed with taste, and the dal bhat set was comforting and well-balanced. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, giving a real feel of Nepali culture.
We arrived late in Canberra, and really appreciate that the team still catered for us. The food was overall excellent — we tried Chicken Momo, Chicken Jhol Momo, Naan, Butter Chicken, and Methi Paneer. Everything tasted great, especially the momos and paneer dishes. However, the Naan was the weakest point — it seemed premade, very thick, and not soft as expected. Please consider improving this. The Butter Chicken was slightly tangy for our taste, but still enjoyable. Prices are on the higher side, which is understandable given the prime location. Overall, a good dining experience with just a few things to fine-tune.

We went to Lakeside Gurkhas for dinner on Tuesday and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the Khutti Ko Soup and the Newari Khaja Set, and the food tasted just like authentic Nepali cuisine back home. Every dish was full of flavor and truly enjoyable. A special thanks to Subarna, Prabin, and the young lady on the team for their outstanding hospitality. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
